Devert "Vert" Welch is a young man from one of the more violent cities of the bay area,"East Palo Alto" who made a way towards better decisions through music around the age 10. His buzz began when he formed a "rap" group called "raw footage" back in high school before he branched off with this diverse sound of music and became a solo artist. His "show life" took off when he was performing at school dances and talent shows gaining fans who were also his classmates. Devert who is the younger brother of the growing hip-hop artist Dwight also known as "Dwight the young 1" got discouraged with his potential due to the fact that his brother was established and doing shows at actual clubs throughout the bay area, however little did he know he was in for change. Around 2007 all the way through late 2009 Vert’s older brother Dwight finally felt his younger brother was ready to make music alongside him and then introduced him to all of his friends within the music industry, and friends in general. By 2010 Vert was doing shows with his brother and also on his own at venues from the bay area and also down south to Los Angeles. in 2012 Dwight formed a campaign known as "invisible bass" and took Vert in as an affiliate, now 2015 Vert is establishing his self as an artist and also a entrepreneur  as he now has his own brand an label "psyche life". Vert is looking forward to work with artist of all genres of music. This young man is taking advantage of tomorrow.
